"We finally tried Luc’s after hearing so many great things and seeing how consistently busy it is. The food was decent, but the experience didn’t quite match the hype for us. The escargot was flavorful and buttery, but no escargot fork was provided and there was no toast or bread served alongside it to soak up the garlic butter. My husband’s mussels were plentiful and tasty, but likewise arrived without bread, which felt like a missed opportunity given the broth! The complimentary bread that eventually came to the table seemed underbaked, though the butter was delicious. My duck confit was well prepared and the tuna appetizer was enjoyable. The restaurant was packed and clearly has a loyal following, so our experience may not be representative of what others have had. Overall, a pleasant meal, but a few service and execution details kept it from being the experience we were expecting."

"Wow if you are looking for French at it's best, this is the place for you! The overall feel the minute you walk in, is like you have been transported to France. The food is amazing, and the staff is the best of the best. Check them out ASAP."

"Solid spot, enjoyed our dinner date. Positives: excellent service and ambience, the staff were awesome, Sarah was a great waitress. The decor and outdoor space was really well done and reminded me of being in Paris. Enjoyed the escargot and cote du Rhône wine was delicious Negatives: some of the food could have been better. The bread was a little stale, I would expect a fresh warm baguette. Tomato salad special was not fresh, duck confit was well crisped but dry. This place has a lot of potential, and I really wanted to give five stars. It’s getting lots of points for the ambience and service, but some of the food could have been better. My wife loved the salmon. Will come back again to try lunch."

"we had an enjoyable lunch here. Found it much better than the other nearby French restaurant (at which we also had lunch in the same week). Fun place, very busy and obviously well-loved. My main complaint is actually minor: cassoulet from toulouse has sausage in it, and it isn’t soupy. Looking forward to going back and sampling more dishes!"

"We went there yesterday with friends and unfortunately left very disappointed. The pâté was served far too cold, which really affected its flavor. The sole (assuming it was actually sole) was soggy, and both steaks—which we ordered medium rare—were cold in the center rather than properly cooked. Even the fries were cold. The mussels we ordered were subpar quality with a too buttery broth. After spending nearly $400, we expected a much better dining experience. This used to be one of our favorite restaurants, but sadly, after this visit, we won’t be returning. This restaurant does not justice to the real French bistro cuisine. Lastly, in all fairness, the place was packed and I presume the kitchen was completely overwhelmed."
